Hurricane here & there...
So the month of September started and it brought news of upcoming hurricanes. As many of you may know, hurricane season occurs from June 1st to November 30th, but September seems to be the month with most activity.
According to the National Hurricane Center, we have Hurricane Irma, then there's recently upgraded Hurricane Jose (coming from the central Atlantic Ocean). And finally there's recently upgraded Hurricane Katia, which is located around Gulf of Mexico.
Taking these natural threads into consideration, it's always good to know what to do before, during, and after a hurricane situation. Most of the time, we only think about protecting our property and having enough food & an emergency supply kit, but there are a few more things to think about.
