Real Christmas Magic
"The light in a Child's eyes is all that takes to make Christmas a magical time of the year."
So nowadays, many have said that the Holidays is all about material stuff and that it's commercialized. In a way, it has been for a while but...
...there's always a but...
...there's always something that makes it jolly. There's a pinch of magic that makes it special again.
So my little nephew got this idea of staring out to the sky during the night. He had been doing so for a few weeks before Christmas Day. He was looking for any flashing lights, checking out any shiny starts in the sky. For him, this was a sign that Santa was flying around to check on all kids and, hopefully, leaving some early presents.
On Christmas Eve, he sat outside the balcony with a special message he thought about. A small token of his appreciation towards Santa...towards that lovely dream he had regarding his gifts...towards that illusion of all magical things, of being good and getting a reward for it.
We Love You, Santa!
Every time he would see a shining light in the sky, he would run inside the house and tell me about it. His creative mind will wonder off and make up this magical story of what he thought Santa was doing. He had such a spark in his eyes every time he would give an update of what he was seeing in the sky.
And that, my dear readers, is truly what Christmas is really about --> the creative & enlighten spirit that all children carry in their hearts and in their minds. It's definitely a magical light that shines above and beyond. It's something that cannot be measured by the quantity of gifts. And it's definitely something that cannot be plastered in a commercialized holiday. It's something beyond that...
As a final thought, I ask each of you to find that child-like light that you have inside and just let it shine. Please be good to others and help out the right way without expecting a big material reward but, instead, get rewarded with some sort of blessing.
