Earth Day
“It seems to me that the natural world is the greatest source of excitement; the greatest source of visual beauty; the greatest source of intellectual interest. It is the greatest source of so much in life that makes life worth living.” — David Attenborough, English broadcaster and naturalist.
Today, April 22nd 2018, is a very special day - it's Earth Day. As read on the very creative quote above, the natural world is the greatest source. We find food, beauty, intellectual interest, we even find ourselves after we get lost in the sometimes-crazy concrete world we live in.
We have so many great things that our Earth has to offer...
Such a great source of wonders, indeed...
And somehow, not everyone knows how to appreciate it all and really take care of it.
It seems to me that pollution is an ongoing thing that hardly stops. And from what I've seen on news & on shows on TV, plastic pollution seems to be the biggest concern nowadays - a very awful way to poison our environment & injure the great wildlife we have in this planet. And the worst is that it affects our health, too.
How come most people love to dispose of plastic items in the wildlife? Why is it so hard to just wait a bit and throw plastic in a recycling bin? Or even better, why not reuse that plastic for some other things inside our homes?
I really hope everyone takes this Earth Day to think about our planet. Think on all of the sources and benefits that this Earth has to offer. Finally, come with ways you can help and prevent pollution - this way we have a better place for us and our children to come.
