Losing great literature authors...

The world is losing great literature minds. First of all, Latin America lost one of its most loved authors ever back in April: Gabriel García Marquez. Now, on the last few days of May, North Americans lost a great author and poet: Dr. Maya Angelou.

Maya Angelou (April 1928 - May 2014)

She was greatly known for her books and poems. Besides her literature work, she was a Civil Rights Activist and worked with Martin Luther King, Jr. and Malcom X. To be honest, I wasn't aware of this fact. Also, she appeared in many TV shows and movies, making herself (in my point of view) a much more noticeable person. She was able to transfer that unique personality so wise and full of soul on her writing and her TV appearences.

It's really sad to lose great minds like Maya Angelou. I guess her work will make her inmortal...

By the way, here is one of Maya's quote I just love the most:
