Refreshing some Knowledge...
This weekend was a bit busy for me. It was a time to refresh some knowledge and get in contact with people that might help me with some projects I have in mind.
Yesterday - August 12 - was a great day to take a small social media course. It was a great initiative provided by Cliche Brands - a local marketing company. It was a course that covered the essentials for media platforms like YouTube, Google +, and Twitter. It was also a great way to interact with small business owners and other people interested in this subject; here their experiences and get some ideas on how to learn and improve in this area.
Today, while gathered with some friends, the social media topic came up in the conversation. Some of these people were interested in social media marketing to expand as a freelance community manager; others because they saw the importance of dealing with it so their business can expand by listening to what customers and other people out there want to express.
I want to expand in this industry; need to do it as a freelancer or as part of company. One way or the other, it's always great to keep refreshing some knowledge and interacting with others in order to be more creative and expand...
